Here are some top recommendations for things to do and see in Palm Beach that are perfect for women over 40 and families alike.

Shopping

For a leisurely shopping experience (more looking than buying), Worth Avenue is the place to be. This world-renowned shopping street offers upscale boutiques, art galleries, and delicious cafes. The tree-lined streets and Mediterranean-style buildings make for a picturesque walk, perfect for an afternoon outing. Some fav stores included Lilly Pulitzer, Kassatly’s for the sweetest pajamas. Other spots include Church Mouse (consignment shop, though I hear there are better ones in West Palm) and the shops at The Royal Poinciana Plaza, I spoke at an event at Marisa’s Collections, a great boutique.

Tip: Don’t forget to check out the stunning gardens and fountains while strolling the avenue

Some favs include: Swifty’s (sit by the pool and take it all in), the Buccan Sandwich Counter (local tip: order ahead), Bice, The Seafood Barb at The Breakers (food was ok but drinks were super fun with the fish swimming by) .Families will appreciate casual dining options with kid-friendly menus, including delicious seafood spots along the waterfront. Other recs from locals included Bice, Renato’s, BrickTop and Henry’s.

Tip: Try to make a reservation in advance, especially during peak tourist seasons.

Lodging- Where to stay in Palm Beach

Palm Beach is home to a variety of luxurious and charming places to stay, perfect for women over 40 looking for a relaxing retreat or families seeking a comfortable vacation. I absolutely LOVED The Colony and will stay there again.

Colony Hotel Palm Beach is a charming, boutique-style hotel that combines historic elegance with modern conveniences. Its tropical atmosphere and vibrant, retro design make it a unique place to stay. The hotel features a lovely pool area, a beautiful outdoor terrace, and close proximity to Worth Avenue for shopping and dining. Additionally you can grab a bike and ride a block to the beach. Get ready for people watching, and lots of famous people sightings (Hey Kelsey Grammer and Isaac Mizrahi) . I could sit in the lobby people and watch for hours. Other places to stay in Palm Beach include Palm House Hotel, White Elephant, The Breakers and Four Seasons.
